About This Program
Starting Summer 2026, kids in grades K-8 will learn to build with AI every Saturday at a community center in North Minneapolis. Not follow tutorials. Not watch demos. Build. Real projects they own, real problems from their world, real presentations to their community.
Three age based tracks will run simultaneously so siblings of different ages can attend at the same time. All materials provided. Chromebooks, AI tools, snacks, and trained mentors. Zero cost to families. Always.
What makes this different from every other youth tech program: kids are the Boss and AI is their Employee. From Day 1, they write job descriptions (prompts), evaluate the work, give performance reviews, and decide when to fire one AI tool and hire another.
